THE SENIOR EXPERIENCE

Your Senior Year, Your Way.
Senior year is finally here—and somehow, it will be over before you know it.
Let’s celebrate this season with photographs that feel like you: relaxed, confident, personal, and full of everything that makes this year worth remembering. From high school senior portraits and sorority recruitment photos to college graduation sessions, we’ll create images you’ll love now and be even more grateful to have years from now.
SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHY ON LONG ISLANDThis year deserves more than the standard school photo.
Senior year is such an exciting season, and it truly flies by. My goal is to create a fun, relaxed experience where you feel completely comfortable being yourself while creating images you'll love looking back on for years to come. One thing I've learned over the past few years is that late summer and early fall have become my favorite time to photograph seniors. Before school, sports, college applications, and activities take over, schedules tend to be a little more flexible, Long Island is beautiful, and you'll have your images ready for everything senior year brings—from college commitment posts and graduation announcements to internships, LinkedIn, and, if it's part of your journey, sorority recruitment.

This is your opportunity to make the experience personal. Bring the outfits you love. Choose a place that means something to you. 03 / YOU DID IT
College Grad + Cap & Gown Sessions
The degree is official. The photos should be, too. Graduation day itself goes by fast—the crowds, the ceremony, the family photos, the goodbyes, and suddenly an entire chapter is over. A College Grad + Cap & Gown Session gives you the chance to slow it down and actually celebrate what you've accomplished. We'll photograph you in the places that became part of your college story, from iconic campus landmarks to the quieter corners that hold your favorite memories. Bring your cap and gown, honors cords, school gear, champagne, friends, family, or anything else that makes the experience feel like yours. The result is a gallery that captures both the milestone and the person behind it—perfect for graduation announcements, social media, gifts for family, and remembering a season you worked incredibly hard to reach.
Optional Stony Brook SEO Copy
Erin also photographs college graduation and Cap & Gown sessions at Stony Brook University and throughout Long Island, creating relaxed, celebratory portraits for graduates who want something more personal than a few rushed photos on commencement day.

04 / PLANNING FOR SORORITY RECRUITMENT?
Yes, there are specific photos you may need.
If sorority recruitment is part of your college plans, your photo requirements may look a little different from a traditional senior session. Many recruitment applications request a combination of a headshot, three-quarter portrait, and full-length image. During a Rush Ready Session, we'll make sure you leave with polished options that work for recruitment while still capturing plenty of natural photographs you'll actually want to use throughout senior year. Not sure what your school or recruitment process requires? Bring the guidelines with you, and we'll make sure we cover what you need.
Your people. Your places. Your senior year.
No two sessions need to look alike.

FOR THE PARENTS
They’re ready for what’s next. You might want to hold onto this chapter a little longer.
Senior year has a funny way of feeling incredibly busy and impossibly fast at the same time. Between applications, sports, activities, college decisions, graduation plans, and everything happening in between, suddenly the child you've photographed on your phone for years is preparing for an entirely new chapter. Senior portraits create a pause in the middle of all of it. My goal is to photograph who they are right now—their confidence, personality, interests, expressions, and all the small details you know better than anyone. And if they insist they "hate having their picture taken," don't worry. I'll guide them throughout the session while giving them enough freedom to relax and be themselves. The goal isn't to manufacture a perfect smile. It's to create images that actually look and feel like your senior. These are photographs for them today. But I have a feeling they'll become just as important to you.
BEHIND THE CAMERA
No modeling experience
required.
You don’t need to show up knowing how to pose or what to do with your hands. We’ll move around, try things, laugh a lot, and keep it feeling like you—not a photoshoot version of you. I’ll help with the locations, outfits, posing, and all the little details so you can actually enjoy the experience. Every session is different because every senior is different—and that’s kind of the point. The goal? Photos that feel effortless, look amazing, and make you excited to post them now and still love them years from now.

How it works
The experience should feel just as easy as the photographs look. I'll guide you through everything from choosing the right session to planning your location, outfits, and details, so when photo day arrives, the only thing left to do is enjoy it.
step 01
Let’s chat
A fully personalized senior portrait experience.
Fill out my Senior Photography inquiry form and tell me a little about yourself, what you're celebrating, and which session you're interested in. I'll follow up with additional information and help you decide which experience is the best fit.
step 02
Make It Official
Once we've connected and you're ready to move forward, we'll choose your session date and take care of the booking details. Your agreement and deposit secure your date on my calendar.
For clients under 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to sign the agreement.
STEP 03
Let’s Make It Yours
Now for the fun part. For The Senior Experience, we'll plan your session together—location, outfits, interests, inspiration, and anything else you'd love to incorporate. For shorter sessions, I'll provide the information you need to arrive feeling prepared and confident. Have absolutely no idea what you want? That's okay too. You don't need to arrive with a Pinterest board and a twelve-page creative brief. I'll help you figure it out.
STEP 04
Photo Day
This is where everything comes together. I'll guide you throughout the session so you never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera. We'll create the photographs we planned while leaving room for the spontaneous moments that often become favorites. After your session, your professionally edited images will be delivered through an online gallery.

Absolutely. I can recommend locations throughout Long Island based on the feel you want for your photographs—beachy, coastal, downtown, natural, classic, or something completely different.
And if you have no idea what you're looking for yet, that's okay. We'll work through the options together.
-
Yes!
While the focus of the session will be on you, I'm always happy to incorporate a few photographs with the people—or pets—that are an important part of your story.
If you'd like to include someone in your session, just let me know while we're planning.
-
Not at all.
Most of my clients aren't professional models and don't arrive knowing how to pose.
I'll guide you throughout the session and help with positioning, movement, and all those little details so you never feel like you're standing there wondering what to do.
My goal is for your photographs to feel polished while still looking natural and unmistakably like you.

Late summer and early fall are some of my favorite times for high school senior photography on Long Island.
Schedules tend to be a little more flexible before the school year becomes packed with sports, college applications, activities, and events—and you'll have your photographs ready to use throughout senior year.
That said, senior sessions can take place throughout the year depending on the look, location, and milestone you'd like to capture.
-
The Senior Experience is Erin's full, personalized senior portrait session. It includes more time, multiple outfits, 1–2 locations, a planning consultation, and a larger final gallery.
Rush Ready is a shorter 45-minute outdoor session at one location. It was originally created for sorority recruitment photography but is also ideal for seniors who want beautiful, versatile portraits without the full Senior Experience
-
Not at all.
While Rush Ready was originally designed around sorority recruitment needs, it's also a great option if you simply want a shorter senior session with polished portraits you can use for graduation announcements, college posts, internships, LinkedIn, social media, and more.
-
Yes!
College Grad + Cap & Gown Sessions are designed specifically to celebrate your graduation and can incorporate your campus, cap and gown, school traditions, family, friends, and other meaningful details from your college experience.

Yes. Erin photographs college graduation sessions at Stony Brook University as well as other locations throughout Long Island.
Contact Erin with your graduation date and school information so we can discuss availability and session details.

THIS ONE ONLY HAPPENS ONCE
Let’s make your senior year look like you.
The places will change. The schedule will get busier. Graduation will arrive. Before it all moves on, let's capture this version of you.
